Daycare services which encourage outdoor play are delivering better outcomes for children, the Care Inspectorate has said.
The findings were revealed as Scotland’s Minister for Children and Young People, Aileen Campbell, helped launch a new Care Inspectorate resource which aims to support all daycare services across the country deliver more outdoor play to youngsters.
LLN Hogganfield is based at Golf It! 1240 Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow G33 1AH and can accommodate 46 children per day between the ages of 2-5 years
LLN Milngavie is based in Bearsden and Milngavie sports club, Auchenhowie Road G62 6EJ and can accommodate 75 children per day between the ages of 0-5 years.
LLN Westerton is based at 31A Northview Lane, Bearsden G61 1NY and can accommodate 16 children per day between the ages of 6 weeks-3 years.
Lullaby Lane Nurseries is open daily from 7.30am until 18.00pm to meet changing and flexible work patterns. Both settings are located a short walking distance from the local train station which provides parents with a quick and easy commute to their work.
